What kinds of data work are a good fit?
Public-data research, analysis across multiple sources, geographic comparisons, rankings and indices are central to this offer. If your brief involves client-owned data or a survey, share the details so we can establish the scope. Survey design, fieldwork and response analysis should be agreed separately.
Can you work alongside an internal research team?
Yes. Bring me in for a specialist analytical question, a defined part of a study or additional capacity during busy periods. The handover can fit your team's existing production process.
What happens when the evidence changes the idea?
I explain what the data supports, where the original angle falls short and whether another direction is workable. We review the finding before your team develops the final story.
What about questions during journalist outreach?
We agree any research support needed during outreach as part of the scope. This may cover method explanations, checking statistical wording or additional breakdowns where the data supports them. Response windows, revisions and additional analysis are agreed in advance.
Can a study be refreshed or reused?
Updates and additional geographic or audience breakdowns can be scoped around the available evidence. For recurring research, we agree the update schedule, source availability and which outputs need refreshing.
How are cost and timing agreed?
Share the question, intended output and deadline. The proposed scope sets out deliverables, timing, review points and fees before work starts. A feasibility project can be a useful first step when the data or method is still uncertain.
